IL SOLE (ex. Candyscape) is a custom motor yacht built in 1994 by Benetti. Undergoing a comprehensive refit in 2012, followed by a 2.7 million Euro refit in 2019 Il Sole is the true definition of classic style and refined luxury. During the last refit, zero speed and underway stabilisers were installed.

 

IL SOLE offers voluminous exteriors over 3 decks, boasting numerous sunbathing and dining areas as well as a Jacuzzi and a large selection of water toys. The bright and spacious main salon is perfect for socialising and entertaining whilst a large dining table offers the ideal formal dinner setting for 12 guests that can also be converted into a roulette table for a spectacular evening of fun!

 

Up to 12 guests are accommodated in 6 well-appointed cabins comprising a master on the main deck with walk-in wardrobe, office area and en-suite bathroom equipped with Jacuzzi bath and steam bath. A further 2 VIP cabins and 3 twin cabins are located on the lower deck.

  Specification General Overview

Il Sole is a stunning 147’ Benetti designed for luxurious transoceanic cruising. Exterior styling by Stefano Natucci features classic lines, oversize windows, and generous outdoor spaces. Modern interiors by Candy and Candy infuse traditional elements with contemporary panache. Exquisite craftsmanship is evident throughout the build, which was originally constructed for the private use of one of Benetti’s owners. 

Intelligent architecture provides excellent circulation, generous spaces and greater flexibility. State-of-the-art engineering, entertainment systems and modern amenities blend seamlessly in an ambiance of Old World grandeur. Hints at the Golden Era of yachting are embodied in the curvilinear joinery of exotic woods, the liberal use of elegant marbles, sensual silk wall coverings and carpeting, Lalique glass fixtures and decorative fine art. 

 Il Sole has deluxe accommodation for 12 guests. The master suite is positioned forward on the main deck, and five guest staterooms occupy the lower level. Three options for al fresco dining are tantalizing alternatives to the elegant, formal dining room amidships. The sundeck is the ultimate spot to enjoy fresh sea air and panoramic views, whether sun worshipping, star gazing, or lounging in the shade.   Accommodations

Five beautifully appointed, en suite guest staterooms accommodate 12 guests in two double suites and three twin suites positioned on the lower deck level. Each stateroom features luxurious carpeting, serene indirect lighting, fine linens, mirrored vanities and ample storage. Deluxe bathrooms feature brass fixtures and marble floors and finishes. Entertainment stations provide the latest movies, music and satellite television where accessible.

  Sundeck

The sun deck is arranged for outdoor living in sun or shade. There are three tables with built-in banquettes, full bar with sink, refrigerator and barbeque grill, and a large spa pool with a full-beam array of sun pads. The vast teak deck space provides plenty of room to set up additional lounge chairs and sunpads, or clear the deck and dance to a near limitless music library played over the superb sound system.

  Pilothouse

The helm is an impressive array of high-tech electronics and equipment. The radio room is positioned to port and the captain’s cabin is to starboard.

The skylounge is designed for entertainment, cards, games and casual conversation. Two convivial furniture groupings create an intimate setting, perfect for interacting with family and friends. The fully-equipped bar makes this an excellent social area for relaxing before dinner with an aperitif, or an after dinner drink. The cozy ambiance is perfect for curling up with a book from the library, listening to music or watching a feature film.

  Main Salon

A surround of panoramic windows floods the space with daylight and offers breathtaking views. Comfortable white sofas are positioned around an oversize, marble coffee table at appropriate conversational distance and to enjoy the high-end, Kaleidescape entertainment system.

  Dining

Options for dining include the formal dining room amidships with seating at the custom mahogany table. An innovative reversible flip top converts the table for casino-style gaming. The main aft deck offers al fresco dining with cool sea breezes and protective shade. Guests gather on the sun deck for barbecues and to dine al fresco with panoramic views. Service is simplified with the use of the dumb waiter that accesses the galley. All three dining locations have seating for 12, with two additional tables and seating on the sun deck.  

  Day Head

Creative décor features vintage Louis Vuitton disassembled steamer trunks and suitcases as wall covering in a whimsical design the even includes the original handles.
