Work to be done:

• Replace battery for wireless wind vane (battery provided)

In 2018, she underwent a complete refit at Grassi bateaux.

Built in 1993, it remains highly competitive with most modern IRC boats at a fraction of the cost of a new boat. She has been optimized for easier handling in short-handed conditions, with the mast changed to a model with pushing spreaders and no backstay, and carbon fiber bowsprit for asymmetric flying sails.

Recent work:

• Removed all paint and gelcoat from exterior above waterline, repaired weak spots on deck and applied a coat of fiberglass epoxy laminate to deck.
• Exterior repainted with PU paint and cockpit with anti-skid paint
• Installation of new cabin windows
• Repair/replacement of stanchions and installation of new stainless steel safety line cables
• Replacement of 4 halyard stoppers with Cousin constrictor-blocker
• Wire forestay replaced by UBI Marine Jiber rod furler
• Replacement of cracked aluminum tiller shaft mount
• Engine throttle control box
• Installation of Trogear AS40 bowsprit and associated bobstay rig
• Removable textile solent support installed
• cockpit redesigned for easier handling
• Hempel silic one antifouling paint
