2010 Moonen 97

This Moonen 97 is an evolutionary design by René van der Velden, who has created a sleek low-profile exterior with an elegant, flared bow, nice sheer and spacious swimming platform. 

She offers a lot of deck space in three different deck areas. Her shaded aft deck offers al fresco dining, her foredeck offers a nice sunbed / lounge area, and the spacious flybridge is supreme with her jacuzzi, bar, grill, dining table and open sun deck area. Her hard top creates a nice, shaded area.

The contemporary Art-Line interior is based upon a New York Hampton beach house style. Her main salon (with extra high ceilings) is spacious, open and connected with the dining area that is served from the adjacent galley. Towards the wheelhouse is also a spacious desk located and a day toilet.

The owner's stateroom is located midships, at the most ideal location, just in front of the engine room. The full beam cabin offers a large, luxurious bathroom on portside, as well as a walk-in closet of unusually generous proportions.

There is a delightful VIP stateroom with ensuite bathroom in the bow area. Plus one guest cabin offering 2 twin beds (which can also be converted into a double) and one guest cabin offering 2 twin beds and one bunk bed, all with their own bathrooms.

Her round-bilged hull comes from the drawing boards of Diana Yacht Design, ensuring exceptional comfort at sea while also being very economical with an impressive 4000 nm range.

This Moonen 97 is exceptionally comfortable at anchor thanks to the installation of advanced Naiad zero-speed stabilizers. Moonen Yachts is known for its impeccable engineering and construction, and this Lloyd’s Registered and MCA LY2 approved yacht once again proves why.

During the design and construction much attention has been given on the noise and vibration levels of the yacht. In addition to deploying the finest noise-absorbing insulation, Moonen has eliminated vibration at source by giving the yacht’s highly skewed propeller 50 percent more clearance between the blade tip and hull surface. All resulting into low sound levels while underway and at anchor.

The yacht is commercial registered and had various refits over the years. A large selection of water toys and water sport equipment is included. She had a successful first charter season and is offered in turnkey condition.
