PATEA was designed to devour the sea miles and she does so easily and comfortably. Her lightweight, carbon composite hull construction coupled with a powerful Southern Spars Rig and in boom furling ensure performance levels that will satisfy even the most demanding of sailors. The high aspect Mainsail and furling headsails are Carbon / Vectron from Evolution Sails in New Zealand. Reckman furling gear forward makes short-handed sailing effortless as well as fast. Whether in light airs or a strong blow her performance and ease of handling make any passage a pleasure.
PATEA’s accommodation is luxurious with a practical layout that caters equally well to private guests and charter clients. The sumptuous full beam Master stateroom is situated in the most comfortable aft section of the yacht and offers a King sized bed and large ensuite as well as a sofa and desk / vanity area. Two further guest cabins are located just forward of the Master, a double and a twin, both with ensuites. The twin cabin easily converts to a full double. A fourth guest cabin / TV snug/ study is found forward and offers a cosy and private place to enjoy the full entertainment system when not used as a guest double with ensuite. This can also act as a temporary Captain’s cabin when on passage without guest or owner onboard.

PATEA was penned on the drawing boards of the legendary Kiwi designer Alan Warwick of ëWarwick Yacht Designí and is the largest of a series of composite cruising yachts from renowned Turkish shipyard ëAlia Yachtsí. ëAlia Yachtsí aimed for exceptional build quality from the start and have gone on to deliver many more multi-award-winning yachts up to 60 metres. Conceived as a high performance, high quality, blue water cruiser, she is constructed in lightweight carbon composite with a powerful rig.
