1998 Sealine S28 Sports Cruiser

Sealine S28 with single Volvo KAD44DP diesel with 280 sterndrive. Hull antifouled and polished 2025. Yacht sleeps 4 persons in comfort and features spacious galley, heads and large seating area in bow. Cockpit with seating area to rear and chaise longue to port. Radar support arch can fold back allowing access beneath low bridges on the canal and river networks. Electronics include Raymarine C80 chart plotter and VHF.

Accommodation

Below deck is bright and welcoming with the perfect combination of comfortable upholstered seating and high gloss varnished cabinet work. There is full standing headroom in the areas that matter, aft cabin, galley and heads. The galley is to starboard and has deep storage cupboards above and below the work surfaces. Full gas oven with 2 burner hob and grill, complete with a fold down cover when not in use. Stainless steel sinks with hot and cold mixer tap. Front loading fridge with ice compartment. 13A socket for use with shore power and a a 12v socket for battery power. Opposite the galley is the spacious aft cabin with double berth, hanging space and 12v lighting. There is a very handy opening port above the bed and another higher up above the wardrobe. This lets in plenty of natural light and air. Returning to the saloon and reaming on the port side is the heads compartment. This easy clean wipe down space features a Jabsco marine toilet with holding tank and moulded sink unit with mixer tap. In the bow is the spacious seating area for entertaining or relaxing with a drink or two in colder weather. There is a TV to keep you informed of what’s happening elsewhere or a Bluetooth CD/Radio with internal speakers should you prefer. The large table can seat six persons with ease and will convert to an additional double berth if required. There are two opening hull ports and two opening deck hatches ensuring good through flow of fresh air. Interior is in super condition and carpeted throughout. Eberspacher diesel fired heating for those chilly nights and to extend the boating season.

Construction
GRP constructed motor cruiser with planning underwater profile. Moulded spray strake and hard chine aft increase grip and stability underway. Large bow section incorporating the anchor housing. Chain locker with lid and electric windlass. Bathing platform as part of the hull structure with foldaway bathing ladder and transom door. Radra arch for mounting antenna which pivots to the rear to allow the boat access beneath low bridges. Large cockpit with pop in carpets for comfort and sink to port. Seating/alfresco dining area to starboard converting to a sun pad. Double helm seat with chaise bench with backrest to port. The upholstery is in good order. Curved glass windscreen with twin wiper blades. Stainless steel bow rails offer protection when moving forward or anchoring. Full cockpit enclosure removable in sections for comfort.

Engine
Vessel powered by a single Volvo Penta KAD44DP inboard diesel with 280DP outdrive. Full service history has been documented since new. Single lever engine control at the helm with key start and full engine instrumentation. Duoprop outdrive increases grip and thrust efficiency. Trim tabs and bow thruster. 2 banks of 2 x 12v batteries providing engine start and domestic and bow thruster power. Engine start batteries are recharged via engine alternator while at sea, domestic and bow thruster recharged by a Sterling Procharge when on the pontoon. Shore power with cable.
